Follow Friday
Q: Have you had a character that disappointed you? One that you fell in love with and then "broke up" with later on in either the series or a stand-alone book? Tell us about him or her.
A. At the beginning of the Hunger Games Trilogy I was on "Team Gale", and I was on that team pretty much until the end of Mockingjay when I was like... really? I have been very pro-Peeta ever since. I'm not going to spoil anything for those of you that haven't read it yet, but for those of you who have, I think you understand the parts I am referring to.

New follower! Gale is my FF too! I gave up on him much earlier in the series though sadly. I was so angry at him though! Here's our FF!
ReplyDeleteI was Team Gale for a pretty long time too! Check out my answer to this weeks question http://best-of-ya.blogspot.com/2012/04/feature-follow-friday-18.html. I'm a new follower by the way! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a Peeta fan, but I used to be a Gale fan too! :) GREAT choice!
ReplyDeleteHappy Follow Friday!
Ah... that was me, too!!!!! Totally !!
ReplyDeleteThat was heartbreaking, actually. Just wasn't meant to be!

My FF, http://obsessionwithbooks.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/feature-and-follow-friday-27th-april.html
Have a nice weekend, Sharon
Yep, he's a popular choice! I don't know if I was ever in favour of the either, but by the end I definitely knew I was Team Peeta.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!

I was very pro Gale, too, but then *that* happened and while I know he'd never have done that had he known everything and all, that was when I accepted he and Katniss would never happen.. *g*

Hey Great post :)
ReplyDeleteNew follower :)
Here's my FF
I was always a Peeta fan, but I liked Gale, until he made his complete 180.
ReplyDeleteNew follower :)
I haven't read Hunger Games yet, but I will definitely read it before I see the movie. Because your post was about Hunger Games, I didn't really read it all as I didn't want any spoilers. :)

And don't forget to enter to win a Kindle Fire. The LPP Kindle Fire giveaway ends Monday April 30th!
I was Team Gale the whole way through. The very end of Mockingjay I didn't feel was his fault. They used his thing without his permission. Peeta was cool too and I'm somewhat happy with the ending although I felt it rushed. I just loved Gale too!
ReplyDeleteI'm following GFC and Linky.

Just hopping through, have a great week-end.

Oh Gale...so sad. Old follower :) My Follow
ReplyDeleteI don't mind Gale. I don't blame him for what happened, I blame the whole Society in play. Anyway, 400th GFC follower! :D
