Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

A. Hm. there are a few that I might want changed, the major two that I can think of is I wish that Gale wouldn't have been such an *insert word of choice here - I am going with insensitive idiot* at the end of Mockingjay. Also at the end of the Great and Terrible Beauty trilogy by Libba Bray, I was super unhappy about Kartik, all I could think was 'Really?!? I wait an entire trilogy just for that to happen to him?' sorry, I don't want to give anything away, but if you have read those books I think you know what I mean.

What was your answer? I'd love to know so please leave a link!

  2. OH MY GOSH. Stopped by because I love your blog name, first off. Secondly, I think I cried at the end of AG&TB series! I told Libba how upset I was by it and when I met her she drew me a picture of a tree in the last book with a heart and a G&K on it! lol! Loooove her!!! Awesome picks and blog!!

  7. I didn't like the end of Mockingjay either, and I think Katniss should have had to *chose*.

  19. I didn't see this post before--I totally agree with both of your ending changes! Gale & Kartik! They're two of my favorite male characters of all time, and they both had horrid endings. ='( I feel like, after such a great friendship, Gale and Katniss should've had a better close than, oh, we just never spoke again. REALLY? And then Kartik...it was like the author thought 'what is the most terrible thing that could ever happen ever?' And then she made it happen. But I've made up the fourth book in my head, and it gets all figured out. ^_^

btw, my 'captcha' is 'downer', which totally goes with this comment about bad endings! XD
