Q: This Sunday in the U.S. is Mother's Day. In celebration, what are some of your favorite books with strong mother/child relationships?
A: I would have to say Mrs. Weasley, hands down. She is a totally amazing mom, a total Mama Bear. she is so great with all her kids and handles a hectic house-hold, an easily distracted husband, and always has time for Harry, Hermione, or any other guests to boot! If I had to be adopted into a fictional family, I'd want to be a Weasley!
Oh, totally agree! I love Mrs. Weasley. :) I'm convinced characters like her are what really made the Harry Potter series so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Weasley is a popular choice, because she's a FABULOUS mother :-) Love her.
